Chocolate-Covered Bacon Twists
Prep: 15 minutes plus cooling and chilling
Bake: 20 minutes • Serves: 8
1/2 cup Our Family® Dark Bittersweet Chocolate Morsels
2 teaspoons Our Family® 100% Pure Vegetable Oil
1/2 cup white chocolate morsels
2 tablespoons finely chopped roasted unsalted shelled pistachios
1. Preheat oven to 400°. Line 1 rimmed baking pan with parchment paper; line second rimmed baking pan with parchment paper and wire rack.
2. Twist each slice bacon and place on parchment paper-lined pan; bake 20 minutes or until crisp. Cool bacon completely; transfer to wire rack-lined pan.
3. In small microwave-safe bowl, heat dark chocolate morsels in microwave oven on high 1 minute or until melted, stirring every 20 seconds; stir in 1 teaspoon oil. In separate small microwave-safe bowl, heat white chocolate morsels in microwave oven on high 1 minute or until melted, stirring every 20 seconds; stir in remaining 1 teaspoon oil.
4. Drizzle dark chocolate and white chocolate over bacon; sprinkle with pistachios. Refrigerate bacon twists 15 minutes or until chocolate is hardened. Makes about 8 bacon twists.
